Hello. I’m Emerald. 

I’m a newly-40 wife and mom to two rambunctious little boys. 

I have a big heart for service, for family, for people – especially those who are often overlooked or undervalued. I’m also a champion for personal joy and the idea that we should all be able to live a life that feels fulfilling. 

Throughout my 15 years of professional experience in the social impact sector, I’ve witnessed countless forms of philanthropy – from the multi-million dollar grant to the selfless volunteer at the local food bank. The eternal optimist in me believes we all have something to give. And in that giving, the world gets a bit closer to healing.

Empactfully is my little corner of the internet where I’ll share my ponderings on living a fulfilling life through generosity and uplift forms of philanthropy that often go unseen. I also plan to share my personal reflections on motherhood and other topics as I re-examine what it means to walk in my purpose.
